So I am thinking about doing some suspension on my Mk3 when I ge the money to do so. What is better? Coilovers or Air bag suspension?

Depends on your budget and what outcome you're after. Is it for handling (track work/fast road use) or ride/looks?
Bilstein coilovers (or what brand you like) for handling/track use. If you want the adjustability and lowered looks (with the extra
complexity and cost) then it's the airbag system.

This. Completely depends what you are trying to achieve (talking in generalities, not trying to start a coils vs bags debate).

Bags = no smashed euro lips. Coils = lots of broken euro lips.

I am going for style/looks for the most part. I'm not going on a track or anything any time soon., so I think I'll go for the air bag suspension. Does the air bag suspension still give you a comfortable ride tho?

From what i understand it is much more comfortable than coilovers but it all depends on what height you drive at
