    Yeah its the right part sigh...I think ill just try it out, i just hope it doesnt make my car look like a see saw!

    Maybe ill just compress the spring a bit more, thatd mean a stiffer ride i think.

    If that bottom plate is 1.5cm up from the original, it WILL sit 1.5cm higher unless you change the springs.

    Where did you get the shocks?

    Yeah it was wrong fking part. Took it back and the correct ones are gonna come in this arvo. Stupid vw and using old parts!

    At least it isnt as hot today as yesterday.

    Ok theyre all in! Is it recommeded to do a wheel alignment after taking the strut out? It seems that my drivers side wheel has some camber now?!???
