You obviously bought a poorly maintained car! Never had a problem with my engine, just the gearbox

Not to be negative but I very highly doubt it'll happen. When people are this uninformed on what's involved they usually won't go through with it.


OP if you did decide to go through with it the basics you'd need:
Donor motor (should be able to use your gearbox)
All wiring looms
Cluster
ECU
+ modifying and adapting bits and pieces to make it all work (making exhaust downpipe etc)

By the time all those parts are acquired unless ALL work is carried out by the OP he'll be up for some labour costs too and then the car will have to be engineered due to the engine swap = more $

Might as well sell the vr6 and buy a bora v5...
