Front will fit easy. You want max 32mm adapters on the front to make it 8" ET30 - this will have the wheel sit flush at best. I wouldn't go thinner than 25mm adapters for the front, or you will run the risk of rubbing on suspension. I'd recommend 195 tyres to help clear the suspension and the arches. It may not carry the recommended speed/load rating but many others in the US with VR6s run stretched 195 tyres without any troubles.

Rears though... you'd want the thinnest adapters you can find. Thinnest I've heard of are 15mm. In my quest for finding the thinnest adapters, some Americans have pointed me to Alloys R Us. However they're US-based, so cost will be far from the best. A fellow member here has told me he could make 19mm adapters, and for a very good price. If you choose to run 19mm adapters, your rears will be 9" ET17, which is a very good offset to work with. Should clear the suspension, but will poke a little. With 205 tyres (215 max) + rolled guards, you'll be set. Shouldn't have much trouble with rubbing unless your dumped and tucking tyre.

    For some reference...

The fronts are equivalent to 16x8" ET20, and that has just a bit of poke with very little camber. ET30 should be just a little inside the guard. 195 tyres will mean less rubbing when attempting full-lock. Rears on this car is 16x9" ET11. ET17 would just mean 6mm less poke, which will still make it poke, just less. Don't know what the tyre sizes are for this pic, sorry:

    16x8" ET32 on the fronts:

16x9" ET18 with 205/40R16 tyres. Camber isn't that large here, it's the angle of the shot:

    16x9" ET20 with 215/40R16 tyres:

You can definitely put the wheels on, but you can't take shortcuts if you want them to work.
