I guess another VR6!

well another update to the saga, yeah i know i have not had a chance to load up the pictures.

I put the whole car back together on monday night, i have not connected the heater core yet.

car started, sounded the ballsyist it ever has, the thing went mental on the road, dont know why.

But my Airbag light has come one know, i have unplugged and replugged both my airbags a few times, all i get from vag-com is there was not response from the controller??

I never unplugged or touched the airbag computer.
Man i have never has so many issue's working on a VW period. lol

Well from what i know the Airbag computer is located under the Heatercore. WHAT A STUPID PLACE TO MOUNT IT. grrrr.

Well i have no choice no but will spend till the weekend trying to figure this out, otherwise. I'll strip the car for pieces. So if that happens i'll do a full how to remove stuff from the car, so everyone will be able to benefit from how to's that are not readily available yet.

I already have a few people extremely interested in the majority of the parts, so i could easily make my money back plus more than what i paid for the car and all the parts replace over the last few weeks. lol

Argh that sounds like crap news mate, sorry to hear of your troubles. Good luck with the diagnosis, I hope it works out for you so you don't have to part the car!!

On a side note...I'd be forever grateful for that how-to

Well another update.

Yay the car has no more Airbag problem, it appears when i pulled the fan unit out and re installed it at some point it popped out. Hence i got the error "no controller communication". lol
Silly but at least fixed.

Heater is also working and so is the cool air. Just got to get the Aircon re gassed. then i'll have Aircon too.

The whole car is back together and all one piece.
However this is the strange thing, if i leave the Airbags disconnected and go driving everything else is all good.
If however i plug it back in, everything appears normal but after a 15 - 20 km drive i have the ABS light come back on, So now i'm just totally lost.

What the hell is going on.

Well i guess if i get the ABS pump overhauled too.
Than i guess everything will all sweet.

However i know this is one job i will not be tackling myself.

So i guess i'll decide this weekend if i'm keeping the car, selling the car or Selling the car in pieces.
