Oh very nice, I do love the black. I think that could look majorly tough with a badgless grill/blacked out badge, joey-modded headlights, smoked indicators and dummy pannels, and a decent drop

Could you be talking about the sexy crackle the vr6 often gives when you ease off the accelerator, especially with a different exhaust or even with the suitcase removed.

Oh and yea, if you want to get it sounding like it should for basically nothing, look at the "swiss cheese airbox" diy and think about having the suitcase muffler removed and replaced with pipe

$920 doesn't sound to bad, it depends on your age and history. Who was that with?

The knock may even be the RH engine mount bolt. Or even a control arm bush, bu the show up more so during braking.

Unfortunately the knock isn't the sexy kind! haha
a friend of mine suggested the RH engine mount bolt from my description too... hmmmm.

re insurance: over 25, no adverse driving history... this was thru cgu... with a discount thru work too.

Thats might be a bit high, it really depends on the policy it might have some fancy extras?

Try shannons, they do agreed value. I go a quote from them for my VR6, heavily modded, agreed value, over 25, no history for about $1000.

I'm paying 130 a month, under 25, with the NRMA if that helps.

For a 31 year old male with a perfect history mine in still a shade under $900, although that is with every little mod listed and an agreed value.
