    How To: Help? Changing Gear Bushings...

    Ok So I bought a set of the bushings for my gearbox to see if I can tighten them up a bit, but GEEZ no-one told me how hard it was to get in there! Its going to take hours! am I doing something wrong?

    Mate it takes about 20mins to swap it over, u need to jack the car up so u can crawl underneath and take out one clip. The rest can be accessed from the top, shouldnt be hard at all.

    The big orange one is hard and will the linkages will need setting up if you change that one. All the others are dead easy and wont take long as pedro says.

    dang. the orange one seems to be where all the wobbliness is coming from... looks like i'll need to get me some car jacks. thanks guys! i'll have a go at all of the others this weekend.
