    it goes back to 0 yes. But you lose the km symbol from memory.

    Soooo if it says 150,000kms then its 150,000kms
    If it says 150,000 then its 300,000 kms + 150,00kms

    There are plenty of VR6s on Vortex that have ticked over 200,000 miles.

    I have a new goal then. Never bought a new car before, so this is probably my only chance to see 0km on the odometer.

    On the old VR6.org forum there were a couple of U.S. cars that had hit 200,000 miles - that's about 322000km right there. Those cars were reportedly daily driven, not spared the whip and had little else apart from routine servicing and timing chain servicing.

    Whats the point of odo resetting itself after 300,000km?? MK4s dont do that

    It's probably a design oversight.

    I barely drive mine, so I wont hit 300,000 until 2011. Still, i'll let you all know when it happens

    Yes, mine has seen 300k and still going strong. regular oil and filter changes and premium petrol. will do 8 l/100k on a trip and runs like a dream.
    is much more fun than any other small hatchback !
