    Heater core slight issue

Hey guys i have a slight problem with my heater core...
It's not there. Lol anyway it's getting stupidly cold here and im thinking I should get my ass into gear considering ita almost snow season and I'll be going to the snow every weekend!

Has anyone got a heater core I can buy?

And also seeing as tho it's been bypassed, can someone give me a rough idea on how hard it will be to re install?

Thanks guys. I'll get my build thread started on the weekend! Jut way to flat out with work ATM to get it all started on a weeknight!

    Cheers!

    Zale

Ive never done it myself, but let's just say you need to remove the dash. One of the harder jobs to do on a mk3. I'd be contacting golf loon for a heater core.

its a 2 day job for someone that hasnt done one before. Probably only for the most hardcore of DIYers.
Best to buy locally as they are LHD/RHD specific.

Not as bad as mine, which is leaking coolant into the rear passenger floor. ); Waiting for my replacement to come in the mail.

Depending on who does it for you, lets just say out of a grand you should end up with some pocket change to buy some G12 .

I was quoted 2K FYI. Seems very doable so might be worth having a go at it yourself.
