    It'd be a similar thing, it just depends what is and isn't in the dash compared to the mk3 obviously. It'd still be a huge job.

    Good to hear we're all friends again.The auto is slow to take up,like the clutch or whatever it has is not engaging.Going out to start dash.Let you know how it goes.

    the mk3 is just two screws holding it into the HVAC unit. Mk2 is a tad harder i think

    guys, don't be scared its just nuts and bolts. all the plugs can only go one way and if you remember where all the bolts you take out go then you won't have any extra crap left over! i had no idea how to do mine and neither did any one else that was around me!

    Hi again ,I didnt get started ,but did fix the dishwasher...but that was the gist of my question order of removal and fixing points especially sneeky ones.Any clues?

    nope...there are some that are on the firwewall...behind little flaps !!! easy to get to! and the rest are under the rain scuttle...
