If your a moron like me and disconnect the battery and wonder once you've connected the battery up again why the car wont start, it's because you need to lock and unlock your car again to deactivate the immobilizer. I spent an hour trying to bridge the starter motor and checking fuses to figure why i have auxiliary but the car wouldn't start. Hope this helps someone from looking like an absolute tool like me .

Aus delivered vr6's never had a alarm/immobilizer from the factory, so the above situation depends on the alarm u have on your own car.
Mine is an Australian delivered VR6. The VR6 I have had it as an optional extra from the factory.
