    Hard Starting

Got a problem that has just manifested itself in my car.

get in and try and start. Fails first time, try again fires straight up 90% of the time.

and Tim if you say in tank fuel pump i'll kill you hahaha.

the pumps get very noisy when they go from my experience. I doubt it would be that.

there isnt ANY noise coming from the back as far as i can tell.. it feels to me that it is loosing fuel pressure initially as once the car starts it runs fine, the idle is a little jittery but it hasnt lost any power.

    Could it be the FPR?

i am having the exact same problem with my car... Does it tend to start first time if the car is warm?

I have been told that it can be an injector issue...

Totally random, although it does seem to be a little better after injector cleaner.

it is worse on hot days then cold days.

wouldnt be leads as if there was a prblem with them he would get it under load, not just on starting, VR6s dont have a distributor in australian delivered models, rather a coilpack, but again i highly doubt this to be the origin of the problem.

Wouldnt hurt to do the fuel lines. Could be clogged up with crap, so give them a flush to clean out all the crap. Have you tried changing the fuel filter?

I`d suspect one of the sensors on the front of the thermostat housing. Probably the blue 4 pin one. or the yellow one. Hard to guess though. Better to plug it in to a service thing and get it scanned. I`d do if for you if you were nearer.
