Well I picked my old vr6 which was probably just as immaculate (dare not say even nicer as I havent seen this car in person) and 100% original, with only 90k on the clock for a lot less then that. An untouched vr6 isnt that hard to come by, theres plenty of them out there. The majority for sale normally havent been modified anyway, although at the moment theres not a lot of choice on the car sale sites.

But hey, you never know, someone may bite and fork out a rediculous amount for it becuase they don't have the patience to wait for another to pop up (hell thats why I flew to sydney to buy one when there wasnt a single one for sale in qld and couldn't wait)

Damn thats a nice car! I'd pay probably 8K max for it though. Good luck on the sale though!

Car looks awesome, it's nice to see a VR6 in such condition.

10k is high though, i'd expect something like this to go more for around 7k.

sydVR6 aka Reef. Damn mate why are you selling this one aswell! I haven't seen the car personally but I do know about how immaculate this is. One small thing though - "electronic diff lock (traction control)"

VR6s have a stone-age traction control system that runs through the ABS system, just jabs at a wheel if its spinning a lot more than the other, no LSD.

I thought it was Reef's too, but I looked at the seller details and it lists the name George instead? I know Reef's one is mint.

Looks good, wouldn't buy that without a RWC for 10,300...

Me too, a few have sold in the last few years for over 10 so it's not out of the question. Let's push VR6s into cult classics.

    Yes, it is my car.

Yes, the price is on the high side, but it does say it's negotiable.

It's mostly to stop children from calling up about it.

One of the other ads even says 'fast car for P platers.' Errr, cool. They can go look at that one : )

I don't have time for that. I would genuinely like to see this car go to the right person.

I wouldn't like to look on here in 12 months time and see it being parted out after being wrapped around a pole...

On the plus side, I reckon anyone who calls will be quite serious.

The name is my Dad's as we recently sold a car for him. Carsales won't let me change the name back until I ring them.

I haven't advertised it here because I didn't feel like replying to the inevitable lowballing thread... oh wait : )

Everything works on the car, whereas most people seem to advertise cars needing a couple of thousand bucks worth of work.

It's in properly tight condition, it's the best colour and the best series (imho). Also, keeping the car this way wasn't free.

Clean ones like this don't come up very often anymore. Anyone who has a cleaner one (in one piece) is welcome to undercut me : )

To the Victorian guy: This car is in NSW. We don't have RWC up here. (Thanks for your input).

Selling because I have two other later model cars & not because I want to.

Took me 12 months to arrive at this decision.

If you have a genuine interest in this kind of car, I won't bite.

Lastly, sorry if my reasoning offends anyone. Great minds don't always think alike.

    Thanks to the OP.
