Hakan's VR6 TURBO Build (slow progress)

I've been planning and dreaming about building a turbo vr6 motor for a few years now. Im getting over the 128kw with not enough pull so I decided to buy another VR6 engine instead and rebuild it as I have money to spend on it therefore it will be a pretty slow build after stripping it down.
I saw one at the wreckers 1.5 years ago but I was to busy building my current vr6, So I went back 3 weeks ago and saw the same car and guess what? the engine was still in there I got quoted $330 so I put a deposit on it but they did tell me that It had a KNOCK on it and they cranked it over a few times and it wouldnt turn after a few degrees :0 the odometer said 83,xxxKms out of a Auto'1996 golf mk3 and externally the engine is super clean .

Today 29/09/2012 1:30PM I was in a good mood so I decided to pick up the engine and bring it where it belongs

Finally Look whose Home ready to be stripped naked I had enough of typing pictures will tell you the rest of the Story

My aim is to get over 300/FWKW with the help of
Wossner forged 81.5mm piston and forged rods
    Larger cams
    Larger valves
    HD valve train
    port and polished head
    twin scroll custom Turbo manifold
Turbo= havnt really decided if i want to go single or twin turbo but I was thinking of twin GT3076R or Single GT3582R ?
    Injectors
    big fuel pump
    fpr
    and more

Head comes off and we had bent valves awells were changing them anyway .SO THATS WHAT THE KNOCK WAS luckily there was no hole on the pistons. thats the first time i've ever seen bent valves in my life. so happy to be rebuilding a vr6 again but this time for power. But ive got another project drift car to finish off and then ill be starting to buy parts for the VR6. Im only on apprentice wages so money is hard to earn If your asking how long this engine will take to finish im guess until i get my full licence which is around 2 years so it will be a pretty slow build by saying that i still have to strengthen my 02A gearbox with stronger gears 3.94 r&p and LSD, driveshafts ,clutch, flywheel also a STANDALONE ECU .all of it will be in this thread . Feel free to comment and ask questions. Im still researching for parts and ways to build a power Vr6 . This car will be used for Street/track 1/4 mile purposes to teach those v8 boys a lesson

Nice. Good luck too you sir. Pm me if you need. An extra hand, obviously never done it but enough research to do so.

Single gt35 will be best. With a .82ar seems to be the consensus.

    Nice!
I vote twin turbo. Purely because i've never read/seen of anyone doing that on a VR6 before.
Good job though dude I'm tuning in to this!
