    Okay finaly I got a reason to strip my car and put off the road and start my 1 year rebuild ( I LOST MY LICENSE)
    List off things to do:

    ENGINE:
    Buy a Vr6 Motor from wreckers and strip It.

    Buy PPM Forged pistons (82mm, 8.5.1 Comp) with Forged H beam Con-Rods

    Get the Block Bored out to fit 82mm pistons

    Resurface the block and head and get it sand blasted

    New Crankshaft and bearings+ Billet main caps , oil pump+oil pickup, BBM Turbo Sump,Timing chain Kit.front and rear main seals Etc...

    Schrick 268° 11.4mm Camshafts

    HD Valve springs + Lightweight Lifters + Titanium Valve Spring Retainers+Stainless Steel Valves.

    New BBM lightned flywheel+Exedy HD clutch KIT.

    New o2a Gearbox with Pelequin LsD

    New Driveshafts and new wheel bearings and speed sencors

    T3/T4 turbo Kit (470hp@wheels Rated ) @ 25 psi

    Cant think of anything else right now but will add more soon when I think of more on the engine.

    Suspension System:

    H&R coilovers all round
    H&R Sway Bars
    Poly Utheraine bushes all round
    Front Strut brace (adjustable)

    Body respray Either Same colour Or Lemans Blue or Jazz Blue Still deciding

    Some decent deepdish rims still looking !!

    ALL OF THIS MIGHT SOUND BULL SHIZ BUT IVE ACTUALLY STARTED THE PROJECT AND THERES NO GOING BACK

    Pity you are not in Qld, I have a complete VR6 with an engine that needs rebuilding to get rid of
    96 VW VR6 Golf (Daily driver)
    65 VW Beetle (Under restoration)

    Time has come once again

    okay ladies and gentleman time has come to the day we all were waiting for , ive started the rebuild and ive changed many ideas. today 23/9/2011 5:30pm ive started taking off the engine and gearbox by 7.30pm it was out Ive found that my clutch is still alright after having no 1st gear where i was taking off in 2nd. My rear main seal is leaking again. thrust bearing R.I.P!!! .
    SO THIS TIME My plans are to keep it All original so bad news for some no forced induction
    and keep the car clean and problemless =(less headaches).So all im going to be doing is rebuild my gearbox with stronger gears,
    new HD clutch kit from exedy.
    new drive shafts,new wheel bearings
    ,Polyuruthane bushes all around.new ball joing
    and tie rod ends,new coilovers (still deciding).
    3" super sprint exhaust, schrick 276* cams ,
    schrick HD valve springs,chip tune.new wheels (audi rs4 rims) and tyres.
    And more just cant think of much right now. ill try posting some pictures up

    Nah sorry, good luck with the rebuild.

    For what its worth I hear 268s make like the same power as 276s but don't lose so much low end. Also if your in the gearbox have you considered a 3.94 r&p and a longer 5th gear?
