Good looking' car for yr12 formal. MK3?

    Hey, guys!

Haven't been on here much due to year12 trials coming up later this week then HSC later on but I've had a thing bugging me for quite a while now.

What car do I rock up in for my year12 formal?!

I don't want to be like everyone else who either comes in a stretch hummer or their P-plate pile of **** which they think is "cool". I want a sweet, dubbed MkIII.

Sadly I don't have a MK3 of my own (yet. buying one next year after HSC is over and I'll be earning cash too) but would LOVE to rock up to my formal in one (the lady can like it or lump, it's not her formal, haha).

So are any of you guys willing to help a future dubber out?

    Cheers,

    Stathi (:

What does the lady want to go in?
You'll get more browny points that way...

She actually hasn't made any hints or suggestions, so I assume she's up for walking, unless she agrees with my idea.

Your doing it wrong. Mk3 are only good for shopping trips and teaching kids to drive. Go in style with a mk1!

    Hell yeah. If only though!

Might I say, theres a guy down the road from me and ever since I've been going to high school he's had his MkII GTI sitting on his front lawn. It just sits there through rain and shine and doesn't move ): but it seems to have current rego!

You really want to rock up to a formal in a Volkswagen?

Aim a bit higher than that, it's like finishing year 12 to pursue your career as a garbo.

You make a point there but I honestly don't want a limo or anything like that.

Plus, ideally I want an Aston Martin DBS but hey, who knows of you can hire them and I definitely know the lady would have to walk...

A limo. Or at least a late model chauffeured car. By finishing yr12 you have completed one of lifes big trials. Well done, but you need to celebrate in style! Sure, no stretch hummers or self-driven bombs, but get rowdy and get loose! I took a black limo to my yr12 formal when every other idiot rolled up in a white one, my lady loved it! There are (in Perth at least) many novelty/different kinds of limos too, I regularly see a stretch 1940's hotrod-esque one around, at a stretch 70s done-up falcon too.
