Good Bake pads and CV Joint

What do you guys use for good brake pads? I was looking at Hawks HPS Street Brake Pads the other day.

Also, my CV joint is about to give and that's something i don't want to drive on for too long, my question is are the petrol CV joints the same as the TDI? and if anyone knows a supplier would be of great help.

EBC green stuff pads are pretty hard to beat. Iv had them for 2 years of road driving plus iv done a heap of trackd ays and they are great, not noisey and produce minimal brake dust.

You can't go wrong with your choice of HPS pads. I have used their track compound with no problems.
Try German Auto Parts, there are a few more options/brands and also have good product descriptions to help you choose.

Brakes really depend what your doing with the car street with occasional track or just street?

If you intend to do any track dont get Hawk HPS, go with the the EBC green or new red kevlar. Either would be fine for just street use.

Thanks guys, I was thinking about green stuff, they're all around the same price which is good too.

Does anyone know if CV joints would be the same between different engines?

CV joint will depend on what year and engine code you have
