    Hey guys,

Sorry to bring this thread back from the dead, but I am going to be getting new tyres soon and I called a place I can tell you the name if required, and they quoted me $269 per tyre for the Michelin Pilot Preceda PP2

    lol

    wtf

I know these are high end tyres, but they're 15".... man they had had 235's in their catalogue for sale for $229 or something like that.

What kind of prices should I be expecting for a decent tyre?

A good price IMO, but not the same tire. Firstly its a 195 vs a 205 and there a quite a few adrenalin variants...

i know i know but that's quite a large price disparity. they're exactly the same, re001 potenza etc. for an uncommon tyre size i think $65 per tyre for a 10mm wider tyre section is ridiculous.

lol. 195 tyres will make you accelerate faster. the bridgestones are quite good.

Just thought i wouls shed some light on this tyre issue.
    I have a MK3 VR6 Again, YAY. I'm running TOYO PROXIES T1R's.

And i have to admit, there extremely quiet even at high speeds. The are super sticky, and thus far appear to have excellent wear on them for the mileage.

I will highly recommend these to any person wanting to put new tyres on there VR6.

Sorry for the extremely belated response, but they cost $1096.00 fitted (including wheel alignment etc). And yes, stuck with the 205/50. Cheers
