    Gl running rough as

    lately ive been having a bit oftrouble with my gl, engine is not holding a steady idle, using too much fuel, flat spotting at different times, i know for a fact its running rich as we plugged it in to a diagnostics tool, but thats all the info it said
    has going to just replace engine temp sensor, but dont know what else it could be
    any help would be appreciated

    well i replaced the temp sensor, blasted teh crap out of it with some subaru engine head cleaner foam stuff, has gave me my power back no flat spotting etc, altho she still idles rough and no minor backfires.............
    any ideas lol

    Did you change the lambda probe as well?

    Its just a fancy name for a 02/oxygen sensor

    mightpick up a new one at work tomorow
    it not running quite as rough as it used too, jut seems to use like 10litres per hundred kms
    which is pretty damn bad imo

    also have a look out for a vacuum leak.. i had a few issues with flat spots , bad mileage and rough idle.
    turned out to be a combination of both (bad 02 sensor and a vacuum leak)
