    Getting my headlight covers off ..

    Hello dubbers ,,

    I've had loads of people reccommend I lose the headlight covers on my MkIII golf ..

    Im read to do it , but how ?? I dont wanna just go undoing things till it all falls apart ..

    Anyone got a diagram or a handy till howto on this subject ?

    Check to see if they're clipped in to the edges of the headlight lens. If not, then they may be stuck on with silicon or somethin'... Heat them up with a heat gun or pop them in the oven for a minute then try and gently pry using a taped up flathead so you won't scratch the lens. I remove headlight lens this way so it should be more than enough to remove those headlight masks if they're glued on.

    They are clipped on the front ..

    I sort of see how they come off, it just looks as if i have to remove the grille too .. just wanting to make sure there wont be any important bits to keep note of before i pull it all apart ..
