and a pic of the successful removal of the aircon avap/heater core replacement! glad that's done....

Made some measurements yesterday for the new wheels, suffice to say i'm keen! they've been dropped off for a redrill, then onto paint... i'll be trying something different again with this setup. steping it up for GAD!
Also I laid the clear on the bay yesterday so now I can start piecing it back together
Having issues with the immobiliser at the moment however... going off the schematics i've sourced for this, they differ from the loom that came with the engine; So i'm not sure whether to rewire it all via the schematics or .... well I don't know what else... haha, fml

Oh man, I hope you make GAD! Keen to see all the surprises! and here I am struggling to get a set of wheels organised... lol
Can't wait to see this done Alex, been waiting awhile
Also, do you still have that VR lip you offered way back in summer when I looked at the seats in the mk3 you were wrecking? I know that was ages ago but just wanted to ask haha
Should do :/ haha, fml, need to stop getting distracted!
Come on mannnnn, ease up on a brother, haha....... But yeah, I think so? Somewhere.....
Funny you quote that, I was just thinking that the other day... One of my first Facebook posts was regarding wheels and how I don't want it stiff, low or illegal...... Haha, where's the fun in that though right??
So I tried starting the car today with barely anything attached or in place; It turned over but that's about it, haha.... I have a few immobilisor boxes and readers here and I don't know which combination was for this ecu, haha, fml. and so with me switching boxes and readers, my battery died(((((((( Was a brand new odyssey ffs. I had it disconnected so I have no idea why it's died on me
anyway, bought some new seat runner clips for the new low seat bases that Ben crafted up for me (now everyone won't look like giants). The stealers lived up to their name..... $14.25ea not sure how that's remotely justified....
Then as I was about to re-install my dash I thought that i'd source some suede and cover it. it's something i've always wanted with previous projects and so here it is..... it's not "perfect" but i'm more then happy with its outcome
By the way, if you ever need to remove the dash windscreen vent/s, you can't. unless you drill holes into the fan ducts to allow access to the nuts and unscrew them :/ why couldn't they have just clipped them in?!? so i'll have to dismantal another dash to recover some "new" vents.... this pic is of the little nuts, there was like six or so...
In other news, the wheels should be redrilled by the end of this week so I can start prepping them for paint!

Always wanted a suede dash. Looks sweet.
Good luck sire!
I'm going to place all of your things on e30 parts and take photos to sneak as much BMW in here as possible
Dash looks awesome dude.
Can you bypass the immobiliser and just run a sneaky kill switch or something? This thing needs to run!
