Hi Matty,Joe from Golfwagen. Dont listen to every thing you hear, your car is in good nick and your drain and fill plugs are not seized or rusted but simply tight. The proper tool to loosen your plug is a lot more expensive than $13 allan keys. I have the right tool and can do your gearbox oil for you and mount your airbox properly and professionally if needed. U can always fill by the speedo hole as long as u know how much oil to put in. I know for 020 its 2L if memory serves correct (or was it 2 quarts?).

Its 1.9L, my dad checked a Russian VW technical site. So yeah basically 2 quarts, and from the swap I did I'd have to agree. 2 quarts of Redline or Royal Purple will do nicely
