If I grind the head off, how will I then get the threaded part of the bolt out?

Yeah ok, that sounds like a lot could go wrong. I read you can weld a nut on with a couple tack welds and use that to take them out. Anyone done this? Or is that a worse option?

Would it be possible to use a screw extractor?

Dont drill the bolt . Use a grinder with a thin blade and cut a t vertically and horizontally then use a hammer and chisel to undo it . If you take the whole head off Ive found the thread comes out easily as its usually the head of the bolt the locks itself in . Also dont be afraid to spray wd-40 or equivalent on it . Lastly with the bolts do they have a 17mm head on them or are them m10/12 internal and round on the outside ?

I used some vise grips, it was a bit tedious, but there was definitely enough to get a firm hold of.

There's a couple of photos in my thread here.

They are the hex bolt ones that are round on the outside. Does that make a difference?

For any one wondering, I ended up just hammering the triple square bit into the bolts and it worked quite well lol

Hey guys, I just remembered when I took the intake manifold off every second runner was fouled. What the hell does that mean?
