    Exploding Airbox

Had a flat battery so tried to crash start down a hill, there was an explosion under the bonnet and my air box has been blown to bits.
Is this likely to of damaged anything else?

If your talking about the ICv muffler - thats common - I bypassed mine, disconnected the battery for half an hour(to reset the ICU), reconnected and started - problem solved.

Apart from the box, everything seems fine. Think MAF is ok, but screen infront of it is destroyed. Now just to find a new box.

wow. A decent effort. I forgot airboxes arent normally cut up and missing most of the bottom like mine, hichwould make getting enough pressure to blow it up quite hard did it get blocked or something?
