HAHA love the photoshop jobbies in here You guys are crack-ups.

BTW Steve, I thought your exhaust sounds good as it is with the suitcase out... I didn't think it was loud. Deep but not obnoxious. Then again, I live in Merrylands and I'm subjected to WRXs and 1.3L/1.6L cars with massive cannons.

a well laid out 2.5" is the go. especially if youre planning any other mods.
must have found the only dodgy review?

And the affor mention of mandrel bends, they are only mandrel bent because Stainless Steel is to hard to bend normally, there is no advantage to it, it just has to be done doesn't it???

A mandrel bent exhaust system will flow better than a press bent system!

    No really, it does

I'm no physics god, but its something about the gasses not having to make a sudden change in direction... which is good... for stuff.

Did you read this review? The magnaflow makes the most torque and the second most power, and agianst 2.5 systems...

    yep
and it just so happens on my car i have a jetex 2.5" system which is probly the quietest of the bunch and also produces the most power. It also has more bends and one slightly crushed section that a lot of the others.

there is no doubt that magnaflow exhausts work. doesnt take much reading on vortex to see that they are quite loud as well. Clearly size isnt all thats required to make a good exhaust. I did the loud thing for a while with my previous exhaust and i grew out of it. Was just too embarassing when i had friends or family in the car with me and the performance gain was nothing.

alsooo. If i ever modify the engine to the point im hoping to then a smaller exhaust may become quite restrictive.
