Finally found some time to do some work on the 96 Vento to get it ready for the RWC inspection.
Fitted a new breather hose pipe which to replace the old one which had splits on both the inside elbows. As I fitted the new one discovered that the pipe that connects the crank case to the breather hose pipe is dodgy backyard replacement held together by cable ties. Does anybody know the original VW part number for this hose (see the attached image with the hose circled in orange)?
I will attempt a semi-permanent repair with a hose pipe joiner and hose clamps to improve on today's effort with duct tape but I want to source a proper oem or aftermarket replacement hose.
