    Even More VR6 Dilemmas

Took the car out for a short stint today, round the block.
It struggles under load. It will hit 5k RPM or so and then it acts like it doesn't know what to do and then I lose power.
vag-com scans show up 00515, it's been like that for a while.
But it doesn't always do this, it's quite random.
Any ideas? Where should I start first?
I can log some engine data and dump it if you need.

Pretty easy diy. Don't know if thats the root cause of your problems though...

yeah, I saw that. Just wondering where I'd buy the sensor, can't seem to find it. It does seem like it's on its way out.
    Edit; found the part number.

Accidentally accelerated while in neutral and when engaged back it kind of stuttered and felt like it wasn't firing on all cylinders. Put my foot further down and it struggled to get past 40km/h (it was a hill but still).
    Restart of engine fixed it.

Really need to get this looked at after exams, could be coilpack, could be the sensor, getting it checked out will help.

mine did this, i had a ****ty coilpack.
so i was running on 4 instead of 6
its wierd that it fixes it when you restart the engine though, possibly another problem.

Found something of concern today, the top left spark plug+lead sits really loose. It came out without any effort, they're not supposed to come out easily right? Could it come loose while driving?

Spark plugs were changed a bit over 20k km ago.

sounds like a problem with a lead. Most common fault ive seen is a cracked lead that starts leaking spark at higher load/rpm. Cracked coilpacks can cause dramas too especially if they get moisture in them.
