    europlate

Pretty soon I will be getting vicroads europlates in the mail. Just wondering how others have installed these things? I dont really wanna drill holes into the plate, or make new holes in my car. Also the plate holders dont look good. Double sided tape sounds like the best idea, is that gonna hold alright? Whats the best kind for the job?

suck it up and drill some holes... anything else makes them too easy to steal.

I painted the ends of the screws black once I had them in place and they match up surprisingly well with the plates. I don't have pics But I'll see if I can take some tonight.

Make up a little bracket out of metal strips. With a hole for the old screw holes and ones for the new ones. Wouldnt take long to make and wouldnt mean drilling holes in the car. I did a similar thing on my old car when I ordered square jap sized plates, worked a treat.

Heavy duty double sided tape the only way don't drill holes cause they will end up in the worst place where you don't want them right on the edge where you don't want them.

Mine have held on pretty well for the last 2 1/2 years with some 3M Double sided body moulding tape, iasked a body shop for mine and he gave me what he had left on roll. Just give it a clean before you stick them on and it will be OK.

Just drill holes.. they're covered by the plate anyway.

Cheers for the suggestions. Those plate holders than can hide the plate are pretty awesome i saw them on vwvortex. I'm wondering how they mount the plates in germany and what not i guess they have some sort of holder.
