It really depends on what you're going to use it for. A stock rebuild using OEM parts plus chains will be fine if you just want a refreshed engine to last another 200,000km plus.

If you want forced induction power then rebuild normally but with ARP head studs, ARP rod bolts and a head gasket spacer to lower compression and you should be sweet for at least 400whp

I was at the same point with mine.
If something needed replacing, I looked for a upgrade while I was at it, otherwise didnt really worry
