out of curiosity whats the 36mm socket for?
If you got 5 people together and bought the 10 pack of filters and a few other things so each person ended up with:
2 x Oil Filters
2 x Sump Washers
1 x 36mm Socket
1 x Fuel Filter
2 x Fuel Filter Clamps
1 x Standard Drain plug
It would cost AU$354.22 at todays exchange rate. I'd allow 20% for shipping just to be on the safe side, which makes it AU$425.06 or $85.01 per person. Get rid of the 36mm socket and it's round $62.50 per person, although I HIGHLY recommend the socket for anyone who doesn't already have one.
There is also the drain plug on the bottom of the oil filter housing, add about $4.50 for that O Ring (I think someone glued mine in so I don't pull it out or replace it). You could also get a magnetic sump plug for about AU$14 more.
So yeah, works out about half price compared to Aussie prices, although thats also neglecting local shipping to divvy up the booty. Also note that mid '96 the filter changes so you need 10 people with the either early (metal ends) or late (plastic ends) model cars. If you buy the filters singularly (ie not the 10 pack) they go up by about AU$3.50 per filter, so you can mix and match, but it will cost you more.
Also note the exchange rate, a 4c movement can mean $10 more per person.
