HELP!!
i belive my crank angle sensor has **** itself. on the weekend we VAGCOM'd it and got a crank angle sensor code. today, 30sec ago, it started (the motor) ran breifly, ran rough, made no power, stalled, now won't start. What should i do? If i dont fix it by the end of the day, i'll be stuck at work.
Pm'd bud. the sensor is located near the coilpack.
cant find tests in vortex
Rayray can tell you about it, he just got his chnaged 2 weeks ago. If possible locate the sensor and wrap electric tape on individual wires, damage possibilly caused by short circuiting from heat damage.
It looks like the Search Function is down. I am going to assume that its your CPS (cam position sensor) that has failed.
I'll have another quick look but i cant seem to find the diy either.....
If you can locate the crank angle sensor, check its wiring. If the insulation is cracking, chances are the bare wires coming in contact with each other. It can cause overfueling and faint signal to the plugs. My spark plugs would foul after a few minutes of running warm.
wireing is all good. it just wont start.
I know its stupid but just check all of your wires make sure that there is contact to where they are suppose to be going to! Can you use a volt reader to test it?
I'm soo euro even my missus is shaved...
the plugs are all good, but i'll do a contiuality test on the wires to be sure.
