    Ebay Springs For Mk3 Golf.

So guys i've been thinking about it.. for my suspension.. I've been contemplating about coilovers for a long time and seeing im on a real budget now.. I'm thinking of purchasing springs.

Any recommendations or experiences with ebay lowering springs with stock shocks/suspension ?

Cheaper alternative and i just want a drop. Im sure these wont have the same ride comfort as the coilovers but it'll give it a good drop.

Just wondering if anyone has recent experiences with these. If not i'll be the first to try them out

    Ebay Springs. Few more online.

Previous owner of my car had them in and they killed the stock shocks, we're weeping and completely ruined when I got it. It did give it a pretty good drop though but yeah not a long term solution. If it was me I'd save for the coils.

You can get brand new coilovers off ebay for like under $400 shipped here. I'd just save for those Stock shocks are made for stock springs, so if you go putting those things on them it will ride like ass and as dark said kill them pretty quickly.

I have lowered springs in my VR6, but they are only approx 1 1/2" drop, so feel good, handles well and no effect on my shocks as yet...

This suits me as it gives it a little bit of drop and still very drivable.

my coilovers off ebay are treating me well! roughly $800 i think including postage for tuningart coilovers.. i dont have anything to compare these coilovers to in regards to ride comfort but im happy with how they ride

I had hottuning coilovers in my old car (the same ones the guys on here sell) from ebay and I think they were under 400 shipped. They weren't bad for what they were

+1. Have a look on ebay.de and ebay.co.uk for set of coilovers or even used ones if you are on a real budget. I would never trust some random ebay springs....

They do what theyre meant to though, get you low on the cheap, and help handling a fair bit too. They dont ride all that great though

Should feel bags, I actually can honestly say I think they are even more comforatable then the oem suspension when you're cruising around literally an inch off the ground. Then when you want to play in the mountains they become very firm and sporty when you air them up a bit Considering the OP is considering ebay springs though I think they may be a bit of the price range
