Is the Ebay stuff just as good cause on ebay it looks pretty cheap!
What eBay stuff are you talking about ? a lot of eBay seller sell Dynamat and they are all good stuff. I bought on set from this guy http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Dynamat-Xtrem...QQcmdZViewItem

If you are talking about other sound deadening stuff from eBay, then I have no idea.

I didn't realise there was sandbags under the carpet!

Def worth removing and changing for Dynamat. Doing the boot would take away loads of road noise too. Firewall especially.

The FatMat stuff would do the trick but have no idea as a comparison to Dynamat.

FatMat has got a few decent reviews... It won't match Dynamat for sound deadening properties, but for cost vs. performance it is pretty good value - assuming it hasn't changed in price since I last looked into it.

Then again, if you're prepared to pay I never heard anything bad about Dynamat Extreme. People who use it rave about it being thick, easy to apply, and very adhesive.

Any good car stereo place should stock it. Be prepared to leave with an empty wallet

Also edead.com seems to be getting a pretty good rep.

Have you tried Ryda on Parramatta Rd Sydney, or Lifestyle Audio?
