I am a fan of the Vento,as had 2 brand new ones,a 1994 Jetta 3 GL in USA,and a 1996 Jetta 3 CSX in South Africa.

Nice to see you are saving this one,and giving it a new lease of life,cannot wait to see what you do with it...................

I'll be putting work in for sure, but won't take credit for Jmacs. 20 minutes away from Alba Euro HQ it's hard to justify spending more time, money, and ending up with a much worse car (Im a noob) by doing everything yourself, I don't have the tools and improv tool usage ends badly, knowledge or time at the moment, but I do understand why doing it all yourself can be great.

Love the colour, and how your Bora is looking they're a much prettier car than the vento, but the vento will be tougher.

Cheers guys.
Went to suss out the slightly cleaner car in day light and once it was dry today, and well, the drit was covering alot! between the BIGGEST scratches on the rear quarter from a cat I have ever seen, to the growth on the front of the bonnet where it was parked against a bush.
Plan to give it a clay to clean it up and a coat of wax to atleast protect it while its in the works.
