Finally got to drive the car again!!
New boot on, US spec tub, smoked tails went back in. Clear indicators front and dude, plus shades to replaced the full orange front.
Ever since I put the vr6 beam in the car I have had trouble taking the rear wheels off, seems the centre bore on the hub is like 1mm too big.
Saturday I finally had enough and couldn't get one of the TT wheels off no matter what I tried.
Ended up taking the whole stub axle off just to get the wheel off the car so I could belt the rotor rather than the wheel.
I had some 280mm rears hanging (thanks Alex!) so these went on to solve the clearance issue.
Wasn't prepared for this and had limited tools on me (was only planning on lowering the car) so likely will be pulling it all apart again soon for new bearings, new pads and new brake lines. Plus I want to play with the brake bias
Coils wound back down. I want to bring the front back down a touch more next time the wheels come off.
Little bit of a throw back to when oem+ was everything
