hahaha all good brother!
Vento is now sitting on coilovers
Cx racing to be precise.
Swapping out the drivers side spindle as it's bent. I play with the damping and preload a bit then take it off for a wheel alignment.
Futuras coming off and new wheels for dovw.
Hoping to get a new exhaust on soon.
Need to get the car scanned as it's a bit hit and miss, some days feels like it has plenty of power than others it feels terrible so I'm assuming a sensor like the MAF or o2 is on the way out

Looking good. How much lower than standard is she sitting?
I am considering getting some cheapy coilovers for my Vento as an easy way to replace the old and worn shock absorbers but I do not want to lower the Vento (got to be easy for the father-in-law to get in and out of the car with his dodgy knees).

Not sure. Cup kit in those pics above were meant to be 60/40 (60mm lower front and 40mm rear) but they were pretty soft so it Sat much lower with minimal weight added. The coilovers are a bit lower again, i need to adjust them though.
Cheaper coils are rough if you try to wind them up to near stock height in my experience as the shock gets maxed out
Bugger back to Plan A of new shock absorbers all around. Rears should not be too hard to DIY but not looking forward to doing the front ones, may have to save up to get it done by a professional.
Thanks for sharing the info and your experiences.

It's a pretty straight forward job with some basic tools and time
Time and garage space are the things I am lacking . . .
I will see how I go, I have a Haynes workshop manual and willpower.
