Looking good Dylan, Glad you were able to get those few issues sorted and that it is now roadworthy! keen to have both ventos on the road together sometime soon!
I'm pretty sure I saw this last time I went around Volkwerke.

Cheers guys.
Yep was chilling at volkwerke for a bit.
Going to be so good zale. So similar but such different cars
So im going to claim first registered vr vento in VIC.
Made if offical on thursday. Needs some more love but alist i can drive it to find the rattles and noises and get it to a hoist etc.
So need to investigate the pass rear strut as there is a crazy knocking noise over bumps. Assuming toast bush or loose top.
Something rotational up front and a slight noise out back so new tyres will go in. Driveshafts are coming out for a checkup and new boots all round. Front bearings will also need looking at
Congrats and well done. My GL Vento is still about 2 months away from being registered.

Cheers.
Whats left to do?
So started playing around
New cluster thanks to anth.
New wheel iv had sitting around a while, not sure on carbon so will probably wrap it black later on.
For record keeping the old cluster had 243905km on it. New cluster has 136879 miles at time of swap.
Dodgy night time pic but atleast can see how bright the silver faces make the dials.
Picked up a NA jetta lip, along with a spare driveshaft, spare hubs and spare bearing thanks to Jarred.
Will go hunting for a second bearing locally tomorrow and press them into the spare hubs ready to swap over.
Took the car into the city last night via eastlink. And managed to get the fuel economy as little as 9lt per 100km on the drive in. And ended up with about 12lt per 100 after some traffic/surburban driving and putting the foot down a touch. Much better then the 20lt per 100km it was reading prior.
The white cluster looks great. I am not a fan of the carbon look either.
I am waiting on a crankcase exhaust hose to arrive from the UK, then need to save up some money to get the brake lines replaced (will probably get CVWC to do it for me as I am short on time and equipment to do it myself). From there I will send it in for a RWC inspection to see what else the inspector wants done before I can get it registered. Once registered, I will work on the rest of the long list of things that need attention when time and money allows.
