so both my cars and Kirsts CC copped a beating in the hail just before xmas.

Vento was a un economical write off. Decided to keep the car and I'll attended to the body once I have the new garage built.
so frustrating as it was just starting to look OK from a distance.

If anyone has a straight vento bonnet or even better, one in black magic id be keen to hear from you.

Bummer that sucks. Although there were a couple of big hailstorms that came through canberra 2 years ago, the paintless dent repair guys were brought down from Sydney by the insurance companies and worked non-stop for 9 months to sort out most of it. They do a good job, you might want to consider giving them a call to see what they can do.

The hail was pretty bad here. Golf ball size for the bulk of it. Found one piece the size of a tennis ball in the back yard.
Cracked the paint on both my cars so will need dint removal and at least some paint.
Same as here, the guys who assessed the bora were from wa funny enough. They have flown people in from everywhere and there is pop up hail repair and assessment places everywhere at the moment.
I'll put up with it for the moment and get some extra work and painting done at the same time

Have replaced the holey rear section of the exhaust plus threw some twin tips on to fill the rear valance. Car has either magically picked up a bit of power or it is now able to breath a bit better with the exhaust change.

New wheels on for vits18
Some pics I hijacked from Yellowdieselgolf, Brad, and Lanky.
17x8/8.5 Monzas with the smallest factory lips available (took parts from 3 or 4 sets of wheels to build this one set...). Unfortunately someone at the tyre shop lent a tyre/wheel up against the poking face and did some damage to the paint on one of the wheels.

Doner car is finally going to the tip, along with my parents trailer and the old 8v

Ordered a mocal oil cooler with thermostat sandwich plate to help with the summer temps. Yet to fit but it looks like a nice bit of kit and based on those used in the mkiii cup cars so hopefully is a good fit

Added some 15" rs and 195/55 re003 to the stock in preparation for an upcoming track day.

Swapped out all the smoked lights for the pov pack orange plus some orange dummies and votex shades. Added the original headlights without smoking for some better vision.
Threw together some wheels to keep the theme flowing
