    Will be at gad with the Vento. Trying to take the bora to bigger shows this summer.

    42DD intake and PCV delete arrived thanks to Greg at Carformance
    seemed to be some confusion between me ordering the item and 42DD updating their website and somehow I ended up with only part of the kit. Missing the pcv delete which is what I was really chasing, but managed to make it work with what I had. Will install some longer bits of hose and a catch can later on I think. Took it for a spin and think I felt some better response, but its hard to tell with the car running on what I assume is 6yr old + rubbish fuel
    Also added a black washer cap, really need to paint the last bit of the engine cover


    Left the car at home as there is a few niggling things like the indicators, headlights, split cv boot, clutch pedal and possible wheel bearing noise id like to try to sort out before driving it back to Melbourne.

    I'm thinking it's just a sticky pedal? Might need wipe over and some fresh lube.
    Otherwise spring needs some adjustment?

    Picked up a 02j shifter setup today. Hopefully sorts my 5th and reverse gear engagement (bit hard to get, think due to the vr missing a few parts on top of the gearbox like the weight, combined with the lack of travel in the clutch) .as well as give me that mk4 shift feel rather then the sloppy mk3 one.
    Also picked up a set of black sun visors and a weird interior trim I have never seen before (even on tex) that should come in handy if I ever got forced induction, plus I'm a sucker for hard to find parts.
    Thanks to Matt for battling the cold and wet with me.

    Vento is on hold while we do some major renos to the house. Garage is full with ducting, driveway is full of old bearers and base boards, tradies everywhere and not much drive way space for current cars let alone another. Hoping to still have it done for gad but not holding my breath

    that has the perfect slot for gauges!! I also got black visors today - mine have the lights on them too. Just waiting for my pillars and grab handles to come now.

    Btw, if you want the shallow lip, $30 and it's yours - I've sourced an NA lip

    I thought you had the bigger lip from your other post, I've already got two shallow ones. Cheers though

    So thestu, water boy and myself went and recovered some mk3s from the country.
    Other than no 5th gear in the Vento, both cars went great. Vento is amazing now if replaced the 5.5yr old + fuel with some fresh 98.
    Some wizardry from stu got indicators working again and headlights for the first time. Thanks for helping again and driving the bora back.
    Getting a Cv boot done, and I'll throw the mk4 shifter in and hopefully sorts 5th and rubbish feel.
    R32 mk5 sump needs to go on, then mechanically it should be good for road worthy.

    Still need a new screen, and a few other electrics before I put the dash back in completely, but hopefully now it's in Melbourne I can chip away whenever I like.
    Also have a new steering wheel on the way, both Vento and golf ones I had were a bit tired.
