Thread: Dreaded ABS Issues

    Even if it looks alright, remember, solder joint cracks can be really small and it only takes one to mess it up.
    Just re-flow the connector and other spots that look like they might need to be taken care of too.

    I think I might take it to an electronics repair place to fault find.

    Get them to check it out for faults and repair any they find.

    I'm happy to spend a little money on a possible repair for the ECU/Module before ripping out the pump and replacing that.

    Unfortunately not so well. Pretty much every electronics place I tried said they couldn't do it.

    I spoke with VW and they said it's a process of elimination.

    Basically on the hunt for an ABS ECU with the same part number as mine, so I'll try that 1st and see if I can clear the codes.

    If/ when you get a replacement I would still be keen on seeing the faulty part
