    doof doof!

Actually, no. Dance music isnt my thing. But a decent stereo is!

Who has what in their mk3s?

I ask since the blaunkput (or however u spell it) player in mine is sending me crazy so I need to upgrade it and its poopy speakers SOOOON.

I'm thinking Clarion DXZ766MP and some alpine stuff I have stashed away for that special ride

i put an alpine unit in mine and some MB Quart splits in the front. I think it sounds pretty good for not having an amp. Nice and clear and plenty volume.

I used to have an amp and 10" sub but i got bored with all that extra gear in the boot.

    1. CDXM7810 CD deck
    2. XM504Z 500W amp (for speakers)
    3. XMSD22X 400W amp (for subs)
    4. XSGT603X 55W speakers x 4

I have also recently purchased a pair of sony XSD170SI component speakers that I will be putting in the fron and moving the current set into the middle.

Alpine or Clarion would be the go I reckon. I'm not an ICE expert, but I see Alpine being a very popular choice if you're willing to spend a bit. I went for Clarion cos it looked the most OEM out of all the other headunits that met my criteria and pricing. Also got Clarion components with it too to replace the very mediocre factory components - sounds a LOT better, but I'll need an amp for it + deaden the doors (most of the factory deadening has been removed cos of a previous power window reg fix) to get the most out of it.

    Anyway, pics!

Yeah I'm thinking of going clarion too for much the same reasons. Plus the current models can change their colour scheme to fit your dash lighting - in my case green

Pix of peoples installs would be great! MORE!
