Hmm interesting as I thought that mine was the only one. Mine does it but not that loud and not that noticeable unless your listening to it.

Looks like it could be a common trait among us mk3 owners. I can live with it however, mainly gets drowned out by exhaust note so u can only hear it when ur parking etc...will look at belt and change the fluid and I'll let you know if it makes any difference....
