DIY Tutorial: Removing the rear spoiler/wing

    So here it is...

This has to be one of the simplest things to do ever.

    Step 1.
Open the boot and unscrew the 3 bolts that hold the wing in place. You will need to remove the centre rear brake light to get to this, but that is as simple as unclipping it.

    Step 2.
Put the brake light back in place and then close the boot.

    Step 3.
(This is the most complicated step in the guide... ha)
    Pull the wing off.

    Step 4.
Plug up the holes. I went to bunnings and managed to find these plugs called "christmas tree plugs". This is what they look like:

This is the hole they go in (the rubber thingo was already in there):

and this is how well they fitted in :

    Step 5.
Spend hours scrubbing and peeling to get the remainder of the sticky useless silicone that is left on the door and wash it all down.

    Notes:
I was going to use silicon as well as the plugs, but basically. It rained a bit today so I'll see if they leaked - If they did, along comes the silicone.

Maybe just have a couple of mates ... um... "leaning" on each side of the wing for the "before" shot...

At least a new shot of how it looks now to show off the wingless bling that is your car!

Here you go. Personally I prefer the wing and wont be taking mine off. But it does look nice anyway.
