    Diy needs some love

    Mk3 golf1.8l manual ofc

Ok so i realised my power steering needs replacing. I do have a donor car but its auto. Would it be ok to use the power steering from the auto? And i ve noticed my rear wheel bearings are gonna go soon. Where would be the Cheapest place to source a set of rear bearings from online or shop? Any help would be great

try asking Tim at Dubaddiction if he has any wheel bearings in stock, he's located in Melbourne. Otherwise ecstuning.com or germanautoparts.com are good suppliers from the US, pity about the dollar at the moment.

I don't think the power steering is any different between auto and manual, can't see why it would be, but don't quote me on it

rear wheel bearings are the same as front wheel bearings from a later air cooled beetle and fairly common
I keep them in stock , about $25 a side from memory
p/s should be the same auto or manual
