    I've got a D35 Optima in mine and it hasnt let me down yet *fingers Crossed*

    Otherwise it'll take a DIN53L for the late cars or a DIN53R for the early ones.

    Bought it from work so i got it cost price which 3 years ago was ~$300

    Any autobarn should be able to source it for you.

    I had to replace mine recently for my VR6, I ended up paying $95 for a bosch 500CA one for ASV Villawood, which was new. This battery was also for sale in Repco/Supercheap/Autobarn and everywhere else for $180-$190, go figure

    there is quite a lot of money in some batteries. The century stuff has very little in it but the "cheaper" brands tend to have a fair bit.

    Oh they use money instead of lead acid these days??

    Century are a good you say, well that's a relief. For the $189 I paid for it, I'd hope so (580 CCA).
