My phone fits there nicely and doesn't roll around like it does in the centre hole.

why dont you guys just go to maccas or gloria jeans and get one of their cup holders. cut it to size, paint it a nice flat black colour and jam it in here like this one?
when it stuffs up cos its only made of cardboard, just go buy another happy meal.
That one has a little more height so should hold the cup better, but not a bad idea anyway.

How about a cube of black or grey foam cut to fit that space, grab a maccas cup or a can of coke to use as a template to then hollow out the foam with a stanley knife...that will work well i reckon![]()

How do those US cup holders fit up? Are they screwed or clipped in or something? From the pics i've seen looks like they just sit in the standard console space with no attachment?

the US ones are clip in , but they have a hole cut in the bottom of your vacant space so the cup holders can actually sit in there. i know cos i have one and i installed it about 10 years ago!
if you want the part no. let me know. the only issue is that it is skewed slightly the other way than your vacant space is (LHD vs RHD), so it doesn't fit perfectly, and you have to trim and cut a bit to get it in there. some of you may not want to do this..
its good for cans and prolly a medium size maccas cup.
