    Cruise control Relay number

Hi guys, just wondering if anyone knows what relay number the cruise control works off? I cant seem to find it anywhere? My cruise control doesn't work, and this first thing to check is if the relay is ticking but its not.

    Thanks

If you're handy with Digital Volt meter here is how you can test the relay (solenoid).
You can’t check the resistance of a solenoid or a relay with OHM meters alone to see if there is a short in it. OHM meters do not apply enough current to turn them on, therefore, the OHM meter results are not a reflection of what is happening under operating conditions. A milli-amp meter reading is the best indication of circuit conditions.

Remove the relay-solenoid (there is a way how to do it with the relay connected to the circuit in the car, but this will be safer) out and connect it in some circuit you made using the globe of the right wattage (do not overload it) The readings obtained on BOSCH solenoids will typically be 300-400 mA on a good solenoid or relay - 750 mA is max. Here's the trick! Leave the meter connected for at least 90 seconds and watch the reading. Normally it should decrease as the solenoid or relay heats up. If after 90 seconds the reading has increased, a partial short is present that only occurs when the solenoid or relay heats up. Therefore the relay is faulty.

    Good luck!
