    Cooolant question opinions appreciated

    Hi all,

Saturday Morning, I will be changing my radiator in my VR6 and will be installing an Aluminium one. As a result, I will be doing a full coolant flush.
I am looking at using Penrite 6YR concentrate which is actually VW approaved - please see below.

Penrite Oil - A Better Class Of Oil

The simple reason for this is that it is cheaper than buying G13. I cna get it in a 5L concentrate for $44.

Penrite also make another coolant call 10/10ths. It is a totally organic collant, phosphate free, silicate, free, etc... please see below for reference.

Penrite Coolants 10 Tenths Race Coolant NO Glycol 1L | eBay

however it is non glycol based where as the 6yr is. I can only assume, G12, G13 is also.
The 10/10th product comes in a 1L bottle for $20 and is concentrate. 1L makes 100L of coolant and is supposidly much better at heat transfer keeping the engine cooler and producing lower running temps.
It is designed for engines that can run hotter than most and can be used on track or street cars.

So my question is would 10/10ths be suitable in my vr6?
Do we need to have a gycol based coolant or not?
All opinions in helping me make up my mind would be greatly appreciated...

If anyone is interested, also know someone who still has G11 for $15 a bottle if someone wants to go original...
