    CLutch Pedal - Hydro

Alrighty, I'm half way through a swap from a 020 cable box to a 02A hydro box...

I would like to get some pictures of the clutch pedal from side on to see how the clutch master attaches to the clutch pedal...

If someone can fill in the gap it would be great!!!

    THANKS!!!

There is a plastic piece inside the pedal that clips onto the ball on the pushrod. It is very easy to break this piece when removing without the vw tool. Even then they are a pain. Reckon you should be able to buy new piece (genuine only)

Glad to hear I'm not the only one that has problems removing them with the tool! Easy to bend the tool to!

Happy to oblige with a pic. Here is an assembly out of the car.

Picture one shows the pedal and the master cylinder. pay particular note to the pedal itself, which will be different to your one and the bracket that holds the cylinder against the firewall.

You will need to fabricate such a bracket and modify your pedal, of fit a VR6 pedal box.

Picture 2 is a close up of the plastic thing that is easy to break. If you have two blokes with a screwdriver each and you push a side in each, you can manage to not break it.

Good luck, keep us posted on your progress.
