    Clutch / brake problem vr6

Hi my clutch pedal has recently felt like its loosing a lot of pressure especially in the morning . It has a slow leak and iv been topping up the brake fluid and it seems to fix the problem slightly . Today it lost all pressure and I couldn't change gears so I filled it up again, pumped the pedal a couple of times then started it up and this really loud hissing noise was coming out just above the brake pedal in the cabin, sounds like a vacume leak . The noise would only disapear if you step on the brakes or accelerate . The clutch pedal still has not much pressure but the bakes are working fine , just wondering If anyone knows what this might be ?
    Thanks

Could be a combination of the booster and the mastercylinder failing.

I'm not that far away from you, if you want me to come have a look at it. PM me if you like.

Thanks for the offer but I am up in the Blue Mountains at the moment. The mastercylinder was replaced a few months ago so maybe its the booster.

    Ah ok, no worries.

If you need a booster, I've got one here that I'm about to pull out of a car.

Thanks, I will see if I can get someone to have a look at it up here and pin point the problem.
